ok so a little update on the runner
i finally lowered it a bit about 2''-3'' total

this was how the front and rear suspension sat

i pulled the 3'' block out the rear and pulled the 2 bottom leas off the front 5'' TG super flex springs

now the before anda after pic

then went out to test it out with the lower center of gravity gotta say feels alot better

Looks much better! I too have 5" trail gear leafs on mine front and rear but with no blocks. Planning on doing the same thing but getting mixed suggestions on which leafs to pull. I'm being told by some to pull the bottom two and others are saying to pull the 3rd from the bottom. How much did the fronts flatten out? Only reason I haven't even touched them yet is because I'm planning on running 39.5's so I wanna see how it stands after the tires go on. I just can't stand how tall these springs are!!!

[MENTION=97005]slowpoke99[/MENTION] thanks i originally was thinking like you keeping it tall to fit 39s or 40s later but then it was just alittle tall for me and ill just cut when it come time for the bigger tires. i did wanted to pull 1st n 3rd leaf but to get to the 3rd leaf you will have to unpck the whole leaf pack i got lazy lol so i just did the 1st n 2nd at the bottom it droed the hieght about 1 1/2'' il say spring did get flatter than before but not completely ride is alot softer now

ok i had minor stuff to finish before heading out to Hell Hole for some camping/fiching/wheeling so since i lowered the rig i also moved the rear axle back about 1/2'' to have enough play in the driveline when flexing so by doing that the tires rub the rear of the rear wheel well so i did some cutting and i added a bump stop to raise the rear 1'' and to have a softer up travel from a down travel if that makes since lol aslo broke a stopper for the daul shackle so welded another on


test flexing and checking where it rubs to see how much i need to cut
(not fulling tuck yet maybe another 1'')

i cut off about 1/2''-1'' from the rear

going to need to cover later

welding the bump stops for a little height and comfort

checking out clearance tire has about 1/2''-1'' before rubbing frame
the load springs are good for bump stops

Just came back from Hell Hole trail did some Wheeling/camping/fishing first time there had a good time out there trail is short and not that difficult has only a few hard section on the trail the rest is easy but i did get stuck coming back up after breaking my front passenger hub studs and my boy 4runner did had alittle more trouble running 37s with stock gears/tranny/tcase had to pull him about 3 times well we had a few breakage and semi breakage to 3 of the 4 rigs

gauge is off by 3 psi im actually at 10 psi

think he was going to fast and hit a 3ft drop off and bent his housing

i broke my hub studs on the passenger side so now im stuck with just the rear locker

sidewall damage on the km2s but it held up good

the hub spring was worn out so it was not pushing the hub gear in to lock the axle shaft we found a circle ring of something that fits perfectly in there to replace the spring and it worked great just that it wont unlock lol had to remove it on the way home

Hey Bro, no picture of any peckerwoods in there, WTF. LOL.

That area is beautiful and peaceful and being all to yourself. Wish I could have taken the 4 days off to make the run though. Haven't been in there all the way yet.
