Woah, that's nuts. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the back. I'm hoping this vehicle checks out - either someone put a boatload of money and time into this thing only to trade it in (either they ran into financial issues, needed something else, died, etc), or there's something wrong with it. That Toyota dealer is selling it as "Certified Used", so it comes with their 12 month warranty from the start. I would like to think they gave it a good look over to make sure it was in great shape before backing it in such a way.

Isn't the certified used take you up to 6 or 7 or 8 years.....100k or 125k miles?

Also, when you buy this, try to figure out if they will warranty those "aftermarket" stuff.... as you bought the car like that from them....

I think it is pretty safe to get a "certified used", normally, I won't even try to check out the car independently if the dealership is warrantying it.

That truck is a STEAL, for how much mod it got on it...... it is easily $10K+ mod.....

Look to be Icon 2.5 shocks in the rear, non-resi, and maybe MT Offset Lower links. Can't tell if it has skids from the pics.

That truck looks nice and a steal at that price with all those parts.

I am really surprised they certified a vehicle like that. When I worked at the dealer we couldn't certify anything with aftermarket parts, everything had to be returned back to stock. They probably wont warranty anything that isn't a Toyota manufactured part or related to anything aftermarket.

The front is with the expensive UCA and remote resi!!!!

If it is a package setup, the lowest one with those would be Stage 5, with a $5000 price tag!!!!!!

And this ladies and gents is why adding aftermarket components is a losing proposition when you go to sell it. If you add $5K to your truck you never get it back when you trade.

OP, please be aware that the installed suspension will require more maintenance than an OEM suspension. Also Toyota will only warranty Toyota components. Those shocks will need to be rebuilt sometime and that requires you to remove them and send them back. That means you will be without your vehicle for a week or two.

Yes, it is cool to buy a vehicle already modded up like this but you need to do some research before you buy it.

Personally I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole at that price. Why?
1. Who did the install?
2. Even if a shop did the install how good was the shop?
3. Bushings, wheel bearings, brake lines, etc.
4. What mods were done to get rid of the tire rubbing? BMC?
5. Extra maintenance on suspension components
6. Zero Point Calibration
7. Alignment specs
8. Loss of efficiency (2-3 mpg easy)

I'm just stating the obvious here. There are many here that have done those mods but they knew exactly (most of them anyway) what the pros and cons were of each mod. Good luck and take off the rose colored glasses before you do the deal.

Damn looks like an icon stage 5 or 6 to me, plus the gobi , rigid grill, CBI rear bumper. konig wheels, cant tell which sliders they are.

I had to actually go back and check because at first I thought it was this truck. But the parts don't match up and someone would have had to a lot of work to get it to this trucks condition. including removing the ARBs. similar trucks but not the same....

He probably ran into financial issues building this Runner, tried to hide it from his wife and was in need to find another ride to get out from under it. His wife probably murdered him inside the vehicle. Instead of burying him and the vehicle in a creek bed, she is recouping some of the costs by trading it in. She doesn't even know what it's worth.....
