Diggin those strike 6 wheels. There's a couple of you guys on here with them. I've always wanted to see what one would look like after a beadlock conversion from OMF. Keep up the good work :thumb3:

Thanks. Ya, I think we've got all the color combos covered...black, black and machined, and machined. I like the simple look of them, and the deep lip they have. Maybe that combo is next for someone...

I love OEM look, yet I really do like the wheels. Is the strike 6 the name they are under/brand?

Haven't had a chance to go off-road with this setup yet, but will soon. I'll see what adjustments, if any, need to be made then.

From what I've read, it sounds like the backspacing you're running allows for 285s with only minor trimming to the front of the front flare. Is that what you are calling the front valance? Am I tripping?

The brand is Level 8, model is Strike 6. Discount Tire sells them, mine were $125 a piece...they come in machined, black with a machined lip, and all black.

Find Level 8 Strike 6 custom wheels by size

And yes, the back spacing I think works perfect for this setup. The black plastic piece under the chrome on my front bumper is what I'm calling the valance. I don't have the flare that comes down onto my bumper like you do. My guess is that if you went with a similar setup, you'd have to trim that front flare...if at all.

Had a new muffler installed today. The stock one finally gave out...had a few good sized holes along the seams on both sides. Not too bad though, got 177K out of it. Went with an 18" Magnaflow. Figured a 14" would be too loud, and 24" not loud enough. The guy installing also welded my cat in, the clamps had slipped and there was a leak there.

Only looks dirty cause its white! HAHA. Took me $9 dollars worth of spraying soap and mine still isnt clean! that lake has some clay for dirt! And that grass made it into freaking concrete!!

Actually they were pretty outstanding. I didn't air down at all, and don't really think I neded to. I was worried we'd have a problem with traction with the leaves covering the trails, but it was fine. Anytime I got mud in the treads, a quick spin emptied them. There was never a time where I had to over exert the truck to get through something. And I think because they're a bit wider than Jmildoc's, I got over the tree stumps a little easier.

I've had these for a while now, and can't really say a bad thing about them.

Also did the diff breather mod...what a disaster. the new union stripped the threads in the pumpkin...and after fighting to get it out, I ended up having to JB Weld it in place. Fixed the problem, but too 4x as long as it should have...

It stripped?? Weird.... I sprayed mine with some penetrating oil, and it came right out! Putting the other one in, was easy as pie.... I handed threaded it into the housing, and then tightened it with the ratchet wrench.....

Getting the breather out was no problem, it came right out without a problem. I hand threaded the new union in until it I couldn't do it by hand. Started to use the ratchet, and it never got tight...and then I couldn't get it to back out...just kept spinning. Just one of those things. Oh we'll, it's permanent now!

Little update: Got some KC Slimlite Long range lights for Christmas. They're pretty nice, 130w, nice long pattern, and come with a 23 yr warranty! Installation wasn't too bad, they come with wiring all done and in heat shrink already. Took me about 1.5hrs to install.

Drilled mounting holes in the bumper, just in front of the grill.
