Thanks guys. Ian, I also love the stance. Didn't want a ton of rake, and am very happy how it turned out.
BFEATHER, I just used my stock grill. I had some extra mesh at work from a plaster job, and the rest I got at Lowes. I am on the southeast side of Indy, just south of Beech Grove. You said you work at O'Brien...I was going to buy a Black 96 off a tech there last fall (for my wife), but he got into an accident like 2 days before I was going to get it. Can't remember his name, but he had a beard...sound familiar?

yes it does sounds like Mike Woodruff lol. he had one and it was black and a 96 but i didnt remember him getting into a wreck. it was a clean runner also.
 
Ya it was a pretty decent one. I went with a buddy to look at it (he had it on CL) and my buddy didn't want to buy one with that many miles...around 194k I believe. So I worked out a deal with him instead, and he called me a couple days before I was going to get it and said he'd been rear-ended. Said it was pretty bad, got into the roof and everything. Hopefully that really happened and he didn't just BS me...kinda sh***y if he did. Oh well. We'll figure out some time to meet up with Cullow and whoever else around here that wants to. Posted this a couple weeks ago in all the sections.

ok sweet man. Ive seen an all black 4 Runner out near the plainfield area and westside a couple times thats lifted and has bumpers on it but never seen him on here. so if your out there let us know. dont have a pic of it. oh went to lowes and bought some plasti dip to do my emblems. they are gold and flaking like crazy so i thought plasti-dip.
 
Cool. My family lives on the westside, I'll keep an eye out for that black one (I'm over there all the time). I'll try to get something worked out in the next couple of weeks...had some guys from other gens interested as well.
 
Cleaned up the blower fan today. It had been making a clicking noise for a month or so. Got it out and there were some "helicopters" laying in it. It was also extremely dusty. Did a little write up for it as well.

Took some time to do a deep cleaning. Took all "extras" off and spent 8+ hours cleaning and touching up some areas. I think she's good to go for a while now.

repainted all the plastic with Krylon satin black for plastics...we'll see how it lasts

Hows the quality of the bass on that sub I'm really interested in getting one like that. Only problem I think I may run into is where to put it because iI have the powered seats..
 
Its actually pretty good. I was surprised, especially for the size and price. I didn't want a big box, didn't want to lose any storage space. It adds a nice deep note to all the music. It can shake the mirrors if I have it up all the way, but not enough to bother anyone else. I really like having the remote, since different music has different bass tones, I can easily turn the sub down.
You could always mount it in the back, either on the back of one of the seats or along the side of the cargo area.
 
Thanks man. Those turned out better than I had hoped. It's been fun doing all the stuff to her so far. I have some pretty big plans coming up in the next few months, hopefully it will get up to par with some of these other guys.

And that sub is a pretty good investment. I've enjoyed it.

Nice to see someone else in the Indy area with a Runner! I live up on the north side and was thinking about going wheeling with the gf on the 18th of August at the Badlands. Just droppin in to see if another fellow Yota guy wanted to come out or if you knew of any one else in the area that would be interested in going.
 
Thanks, I appreciate it. She's definitely on her way, but much more to be done. How far north side are you? Broad Ripple, or farther? I live on south east side (just below Beech Grove), but work up north. Two other members and I have gotten together to install a lift, I'm sure they'd be down to meet up sometime. And a 3rd just popped up a few weeks ago (Dark Lord).

I'm definitely down for the badlands. I also wanted to check out Haspin Acres or Redbird SRA. I've been talking to some other guys on INTTORA about a run sometime. I'll create some threads and see if we can get a decent size group together.
 
I'm in Lawrence right now but moving to Carmel this fall on 31. (yes I know...but downtown is too expensive and Lawrence isn't doing much for the gf and I after her Jeep got broken into)

I'd be totally down to go to either Haspin or Redbird, haven't gone to either of them since I moved down here, just the Badlands 7 or 8 times. Let me know when it gets closer, I'd love to have a group of Yotas with the gf's Jeep tagging instead of the usual me tagging on the Jeep group haha
 
For your front lift, are the OME 881's comparable to the TRD's? been debating between the three inch or two inch for a week now and I'm curious if settling for 2 inches is worth it.
 
They are comparable I believe. However, if I were you I'd go for the full 3". I am in the process of that now. I liked the 2" I got, but I want more now. I am getting some LC coils for the back and adj. 5100s for the front to go with TRD coils.
You'll most likely want to go higher, so you'd may as well do it right the first time.
