So to explain some recent updates. A few weeks ago I was sitting at a stop sign. There was a lady in front of me that tried to cross 3 lanes of traffic. About 4 ft into the first lane, she decided she wasn't going to make it, so she gunned it in reverse, and right in to me. Nothing too bad, but hard enough to get my bumper, fender and flare.
She had Progressive, so I was expecting a hard time from what I read. But she admitted fault, and things went pretty smooth. I had my own estimate done, so I had an idea when I went to Progressive. They ended up being $100 more than my estimate, coming in at $1700.
So I got the required parts, plus added the sport hood...it was a perfect time for me to do it. I got all the parts at Certifit, which I will not do again...

I had the hood and fender painted at Maaco...$250 for their single stage enamel with a 3 year warranty. Did a much better job than I expected. He was able to color match off my existing paint, not just use the color code.
So for just under $700, I replaced everything damaged and added the sport hood. I'm using some of the extra $1000 for maintenance, and the rest goes into the house we are closing on tomorrow.
Other than that, its just been more time spent with this little lady...she's growing way too fast!
And the new casa...it'll be nice to have 3 times the room as the place we've been renting. I'll have the garage to myself!
CVs are on the way, as well as a sway bar bushing it. Other than an oil change, Gigi is good to go.
