The paint looks good. It seems like the front of your hood needs to be adjusted down a fair bit though.

Hood is fine, the grille is being held in with zip ties since all the tabs are broken. I'll be doing a new one here soon, that should fit better. Once its pushed "up" a bit, it would look better. Notice the lines of the hood with the fenders, if the hood went down, they wouldn't line up.

Wow...haven't updated in a while!
Still have GiGi, but my wife drives her mostly. I got a new ride with my new job, it involves a lot more driving.

Also busy with this little lady. She's walking now some definitely keeps us on our toes!

Have any clue how much those Falken Rocky Mountain 285's weight? Looking to upgrade to a 285 tire but concerned about weight. Falken has the new Wildpeak AT3W in P285/70/17 that weights in around 50.5lbs. May be a good option.

How was the acceleration and braking after the jump up to 285?

Added a new Toyota to the stable. My wife had been driving the 4Runner, but needed something a little more fuel efficient. I have my Edge that I drive for work, but it's starting to piss me off more and more. I'm just going to get rid of it and start driving the 4Runner again.
I'll be doing a full go through on her....TB/WP, CVs, tune up, new wheels and tires, couple other little updates. Its only got 211k, so there is tons more life left.

Finally time for a rebuild.

Took care of a little maintenance today. Had the rear driveshaft rebuilt. While I was taking it out, I noticed one of my axle seals was leaking. I replaced those today. I will be rebuilding the drums in the near future.

Also got some new wheels and tires. Been a while and wanted to change up the look. We're moving to Florida in the spring, figured it's time to make her a beach cruiser.

Nice. Why are you guys leaving Indiana? Florida is great, just be ready for a different lifestyle and weather. Hurricanes and humidity are, well, not fun.

Work. My company opened up an office in Tamoa. I was asked to run the projects in Florida and south region.
My wife's family is all down there. We'd always talked about moving down there, just never had the opportunity. I was basically asked what it would take for us to go....I made my "demands" and now we're moving!

Well, the day finally came. Gigi has been sold. As a family, we outgrew her. We moved to Florida, so she was sitting up in Indiana all lonely. I just got a new truck for work, and we upsized my wife into an Armada. A friend was in need of a new ride, his Jeep had all but rusted apart.
Its a sad day. We've done a lot with and in the 4Runner. I learned a lot over the years. At least we know who she is going to, and that she'll be taken care of.
