I got tired of everything rolling around in the back. The boxes can easily be slid to the rear when the seats are needed.

How did you attach the brackets to the seat back? This is a great looking setup and I was thinking of doing something like this. I hope it's still working out for you.

Interesting idea [MENTION=223418]Cej255[/MENTION] where did you get the aftermarket mounts? I believe the actual PACKOUT mounting plates would be too big to mount to the back of the seat...

The bolts/screws with the large washers leads me to think some kind of backer was placed under the cover and secured with the the bolts/washers. Then the packouts were screwed into the hidden backer.

That's what I was thinking too [MENTION=28870]d_clark[/MENTION] - probably using something like 1/8" plywood as a backer behind the seat panel.

A measurement from the actual Milwaukee Mounting Plate #48-22-8485 - which this one is based off of - shows that it won't fit in that location. Which is why that custom plate is so interesting to me... it would actually make it useable!

Any recognize that plate?

The three holes/dimples in the middle look like it was made from sheet metal.
