Mini Morimoto H1 - 2005 Lights

Has anyone installed these on the first model of the 4th gens? My projector housing isn't long enough to add all the the grommets and such through the back of the reflector and I was wondering if anyone knew what I should do. I believe I should probably grind it down, but I was hoping some people would have done this mod already. Any advice would help!

i think u grind the 9006 hole down a lil to get more threads to screw on.

That's what I thought i'd have to do. Good thing I bought another set of headlights to stick in while I was doing this process! I'll post pictures as soon as I get them!!
