Misfire returns with no CEL

A month or two ago I had a constant miss on cylinder 3. I changed plugs and wires (no difference) swapped coils around (no difference) and finally replaced the fuel injector with an advance auto parts replacement, which fixed the problem.

Just this week, Ive been having random single misfires. It happens when:

1. I've been driving on the highway for a while (warm engine)
2. at idle or between 60-70 mph

It doesn't give a code or a pending code, so I guess I have no proof that it's actually a misfire. Could that fuel injector be crapping out already? Should I check something else?

Using anything less than an OEM injector can be a hit or miss at best.

I would think you could warrant a return so soon and get another one from AA.

I don't have my receipt, but they have my purchase on file at AA. They said they could exchange it but I'd have to talk to the manager to get a refund. Also they dont have any in stock, and could only order one If I paid and ordered it.... so I don't understand how an exchange would work anyway?

I'm gonna try to get an OEM replacement and get the manager to refund my AA one.


Also, I have no proof that it's the fuel injector that's causing the misfire. I don't even know if that's the correct cylinder. I'd be lucky if replacing it with oem fixes my problem.
