Hi, catrains, I think I can bypass security, but I need another version of data, to compare and figure out that difference.

my wife uses the cell phone apple when the toyota road nav is in a bad area toyota nav drops the road map gone ...
so I was driving in North Carolina and the some roads are off the screen..

there was a person that changed the fix of the toyota sd card format then he put the nav data in the sd card..a few years ago...
looks like some ebay sellers updated the sd card now in 2020 april data...

I've been missing the nav SD card since I got my 4Runner used in 2019. I didn't want to spend the $170 on a new one from the dealer so I've been using Waze most of the time through my phone.

I think I'll try out one of these eBay ones. Thanks for the links!

Why bother with SD cost. WAZE is free and it updates automatically for free. Plus if your vehicle comes with the app that allows Apple and Android phone to be connected, the WAZE app shows on the larger vehicle screen.
