MN winter and no heat

So i think the blower in my 91 runner is out. I checked the fuses behind the glove box and they were fine. if i leave it set to fresh air I can feel warm air come thru the vents but the blower wont work. I have no idea what it could be. also the light on the AC button wont come on(dont know if these things are related)
I have to get this fixed quick as its already very very cold here in the Twin Cities

The AC won't turn on if the fan is not on.

Check the fuses in the engine compartment and behind the drivers kick panel.

My old '86 had a burned out resistor on the fan switch that caused the low setting to not work, basically I had off, off, med, high. Someone told me the resistors going out was somewhat common, could be the problem.

A bad resistor in the fan speed module will cause a particular speed to not work, but not all of them.

Full speed would still work.
