One was right at the entrance and the other was about halfway through on the North Section. Basically screwing around and trying to get the suspension twisted.

Slickrock is pretty amazing. If it is not covered in too much rubber or sand, it feels like you could climb a vertical wall.

Yea, as expected, my rear bumper has taken a few licks. Nothing a little touch up paint won't fix.
You are right on about the video taking away the true perspective. It is always so underwhelming when you watch it back.

Given you dragged did he just scrape his rear bumper on those same sections?
Did this all happen on the optional obstacles, or on parts of the actual trails (and if so which trails)? I've got full skid plates underneath but I'm still running the stock front and rear bumpers, and as much as I'd love to replace them now isn't the time when my new house will be done being built in the next 2-3 months. But some of those climbs look amazing...I'd hate to have to bypass them if I don't have to.

Yea, his hitch took most of the scrapes, but I think he may have gotten a few light scratches on his bumper shell.
On Fins there are a lot of optional lines and bypasses. I took some of the more challenging lines. We had a stock Land Rover Discovery and a stock LR3 that came along as well. They scraped slightly, but they were not taking the easiest lines every time either.

back to the top to displace some of these posts about TRD plastic pieces and non-existent superchargers!
I've watched these videos a bunch of times. My old titan would have broken something in the driveline while parked at the head of these trails.

When you back up in one of these vids the lights in your cbi bumper come on. Are they just tapped to your reverse lights or do you have them wired up a different way switchable as well?

Yea, I have them wired to come on in reverse and I have them on a switch if I want to turn them on anytime.

So, just got done with Hells Revenge. Awesome day! Was contemplating whether I should try Hells Gate. My buddy went first in his 80 series and nearly rolled. Of course, that did not help my decision any. After we winched him up successfully, I took a deep breath, picked a better line for me to follow, then drove up. Made it up no problem. Of course the 80 could not leave defeated. He drove around and came up the same line with no problems at all.
I also tackled Tip Over Challenge. I needed redemption since I broke my ring gear on my Tacoma in this spot last year. With the help of A-Trac and the locker, I managed to make it up. It wasn't a good line, but it made for a great video.
I am very impressed with the 4R's capability. It took some getting used to since it is so different than my Tacoma, but I like almost everything about it better. I was skeptical of the fancy electronic gizmos, but I walk away from this experience loving them. The A-Trac and Crawl Control are very impressive.
Hope you all enjoyed following along on this trip. I had an amazing time. I am hooked on Moab and I guarantee anybody who comes here will have the same addiction. I will post up some pics/vids from Hell Revenge when I can upload them tonight.
