I refuse to buy any gobi product after this. This behavior is childish and not professional at all.

For a welder though I have been really happy with my hobart 140. Miller makes a more professional level welder but I am not experienced enough to be able to tell the difference between minute differences in voltage. It allows for gas or flux but it was very reasonable at 450 new.

Just looked at ARB racks and they sell the rack as a universal rack that is a certain dimension and then sell a separate fitting kit for the actual vehicle.

I have a Miller 210, Hobart 190, and a Lincoln 140. The Hobart is by far my favorite out of the 3. I had a Miller 190, and had nothing but issues with it. I replaced that one with the Hobart 190, and haven't had a single issue with that one.
 
I really would like a miller 210. I learned on a miller and it was a nice rig. The one thing I have learned thus far is that mig welders can be VERY temperamental when they want to be. I had a ton of trouble with my little 140 on 2lbs spools. Changed to 10 lbs spools (same brand wire) and all issued disappeared. Even a screwy tip can mess everything up without looking like the culprit lol.

If I did go with another hobart it would have to be the dual voltage 210. Really need and want that flexibility. Almost pulled the trigger on it the first time but I spent the same amount on everything I needed that I would have dropped on just the welder alone.

My next toy needs to be a plasma cutter though. Cutting with a grinder sucks balls lol.

Honestly, the Harbor Freight plasma cutter is pretty good. I've had it for going on 5 years now, and it's always gotten the job done. I'll most likely sell the Lincoln, and Hobart this winter. I'm eyeing a Therm Arc TIG welder that I've been wanting for a while now.

I just looked at those but sadly I have no circuit for that in the house. I do have a dryer circuit but it's pretty weak in base housing. A buddy had a mig machine and it would trip all the time.

Good news is the hobart plasma is only a couple hundred more. Usually the price gap is much bigger.

I've bought welders from Northern Tool. They always seem to be the cheapest, and usually offer either free shipping or a free cart. Right now they have the Hobart 12ci for $780, and free shipping.

I was just looking at tractor supply (local to me) and they have the 250ci for 850 out the door. Maybe that's what I will get this year on black Friday lol.
 
It's a shame this situation is even happening. The patent system has been so bastardized by our "legal" system. Hopefully all this gets settled & we can start submitting orders in the near future.
