My driver's side seat has been rocking for a few years now. I had taken my truck to the dealership for them to fix and after getting the run-around they told me my seat frame was broken. They said it would be around $850 for a new frame and around $350 for labor. I just decided to live with it. A couple of other guys had recently posted about the same issue and that they were able to weld the bar back together. Last weekend i pulled my seat out and found the broken cross piece. Luckily a buddy of mine has a welder and we were able to fix it. No more rocking seat. I don't have a pic after it was welded but here is the broken bar.

Installed my Light Racing UCA's today. Separating the ball joint on the passenger side was a MF! The driver side might have taken 15 minutes. Thanks to guys that posted tips. I was able to do my driver's side without having to do anything to the battery. From the little bit i have driven since finishing them i think i can tell a difference in the right quality, for the better.

Both of them on the passenger side are ripped. I might replace them with factory flaps or i might make some out of something.
I love my truck.

I'm glad I ran across this. Tomorrow I'll be installing my 1/2" BL that I ordered from another member. I'm going to take before and after measurements and pictures to see where I'm at. It's nice have some comparisions. Right now I'm running 265/70-17's.

I finally sold my 265/65 18 BFG Rugged Terrain's and went with the 285/65 18 BFG A/T KO's. The Rugged Terrain's are really good tires but I just wanted a tire with a little more meat on it, but not an M/T. The KO's are great. They are a little heavier but with the V8 it is a non issue. The are much more quiet than I had anticipated as well. I did have to remove the front flaps, but other than that I haven't had any rubbing. On to some pics...

Thanks man. It is odd. The tires are barely taller than my others but it does look much taller now. I guess the width of the tires, as well as the aggressive tread, make it look taller. I really like the look now. Now if I could get this pinched nerve issue taken care of I could give it a proper detailing...

Finally had a little time to do some little mods.
First one was upgrading my reverse lights. I had seen a couple of people talking about switching to an LED bulb for the reverse and didn't really think it would make a big difference.....I was very wrong. I contacted Whitebeauty and he hooked me up with some 9.5w led's. They have a direct beam shooting directly back, as well as led's on the sides to throw light into the reflectors. I could not be happier with the results. If you need some more light in reverse, contact Whitebeauty. Thanks man!
