Working on a few projects with the awesome guys at DuroBumps. Finally got around to installing these 100% Made in the USA products. Haven't had a chance to try them yet...awesome products with a great deal of research and knowledge in them.

Received some LED lights to tryout for Auxito. These are the high beam lights. I am very impressed with the output compared to my old Silverstar bulbs.

I have always been a little hesitant to try a throttle booster from the various companies out there. Most of them seemed to be more geared towards car usage but did have applications for trucks.

For the last couple weeks I have been trying out the Throttle Grenade from HOME - BLACK OPS OFFROAD ….made for trucks and offroad use. I was completely blown away with the difference it has made in the throttle response. Having the 4.7 V8 it has not been a lack of horsepower but just a slight lag in the throttle reaponse. The Throttle Grenade completely elleviates that issue. I have mainly kept it in the “INTEL” mode as it fits my driving style.

If you are looking for more response kick it up to “XPLODE” in any of the 1-9 settings….just make sure you have emptied your bladder first.

I have not had the chance to test out the “CRAWL”, “SAND & MUD” or “OFFROAD+” yet but do not expect anything less from those.

LOL....after two years of having my rock lights laying around I finally took the time to get them installed. I spent most of the day running all the wiring and making sure it was clean and shielded.

Similar - ive always been meh about the throttle mods. Im very curious about these offroad mods. My understanding is that its not like it can impact wheel spin and braking such as in multi terrain select in new 4r. Did you get any sort of explanation how it might be helpful in rock crawl, mud or snow modes?

I have a general understanding of those modes but haven't used them yet. This video might give you a little more insight on those modes.

So far the biggest thing for me is that it has removed all throttle lag on the street. I am not driving hard or anything but just like the response.

As far as the high beams, absolutely! The low beams were good but compared to my HID's they were not as impressive. But part of that could be that the projectors are meant for halogen/HID bulbs.

When I first bought this truck on Nov 20, 2002 (20 years ago today) i never would have imagined that i would have kept it for 20 years. Up until that point i had only kept vehicles for 4-5 years. This is by far my favorite vehicle i have owned.

When I first bought my 5th gen in 2015 and was searching the web for parts and mod ideas, pictures of your truck and a few others would pop into my feed. These pics also inspired me to join the forum a short time later.
Also, I never knew the T4R had a V8 option until I viewed your pics.
Then a pic of Sam's build [MENTION=87687]LTDSC[/MENTION] came across my feed later that spring, which inspired my 4th gen build a couple years later.

I liked the black wheels ok but always wished I had stuck with the machine finish wheels.....so I finally decided to pull the trigger. I sold the Black Icon Rebounds and went back to the machine finish Method 301s. Wrapped them in 285/75 17 Toyo Open Country AT3.

Day after getting them installed I pulled them, prepped and ceramic coated them with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor

Could not be happier to be back with the Methods
