More detailed than fsm.

Hey all,

Anyone know where I can find more detailed parts diagrams? I'm having a cuss of a time with one of my door mirrors, and need to disassemble it to repair it. Before I get to it with a hatchet and a hammer, I thought I'd see if those drawings exist.

The parts sales diagrams are ...or were recently, the last i looked...available from some of the online Toyota dealers parts sales sites. About 1.5 years ago, I went through all 163 parts drawings pages for mine, and screen-shotted and saved all of them. Took about 2 hours.
I've never seen a service guide that had much better illustrations than the FSM, but sometimes they have taken their own photos of a few procedures. The Haynes Manual is not adequate by itself, the Haynes for my old '91 Toyota Truck was way better than the 3rd Gen 4Runner one.
By the way, it helps to identify what vehicle(year and model, significant mods) you have. If you put it in your forum signature, you don't have to keep typing it every time you post.

Yeah... it's almost like they would rather sell whole cars instead of one piece at a time

It has the diagrams and the part numbers are clickable for additional info. Unfortunately it does not win the trifecta because shipping to the US is likely not an inexpensive option.
