more exhaust questions

So my dilema is that I have a 2001 limited and for everyone that knows their 01& 02 4runners know that they decided to throw 2 cats on there, well my question is I want to get my exhaust done when I get home. My 4rnr is SC with 7th injectors and all that good stuff plus deckplate mod and headers. Now comes the confusing part for me. I want to do a high flow cat but if I put it on the upstream cat im afraid it will throw a CEL so I can put it on the downstream cat along with my URD rear simulator but isnt it kind of pointless to have 1 high flow cat at the back end of my exhaust. If anyone has any good knowledge of this please help and keep in mind I do have the headers and SC so thats a lot of exhaust coming through to create a CEL.

it seems like you have done enough already. you already have a SC and 7th injector + headers. Do you have a high flow exhaust like a Borla or TRD? Why not get one first and leave the stock CATs alone?

Oh yea sorry I forgot to mention the exhaust I have I do have the borla turbo muffler, I may just leave the cats alone but I just hate to dump all that money into it and not get 100% of my performance.

My understanding is those cats are worth up $750 a piece new. If they are working fine you should probably just leave them on.

I am not an expert but your truck's engine is already much more powerful than 95% of the members on T4R.

Yea that is true I guess I will see how the stock cats do and I can ask my exhaust guyh to see what he thinks but thanks for the input
