I have ridden bikes out there a while back. From what I remember not very challenging on a bike, just riding around in the dessert. Pretty deep sand.
There used to be an area where you could ride over there near Othello that used to have an ironman run on it. I believe they still have that available for off-roading as well. That was much funner!

It's fun on a bike or quad but it would be way to small for a rig. People do it all the time in their trucks but to come from the other side of the state it would get boring really fast. Just my two cents.
