About a yr. ago - the Motive Bleeder web site specifically stated their unit would not work with the 5th Gen setup. Maybe things have change.
Regardless, you do not need anyones gadget. The ability to bleed/flush the 5th Gen 4Rs brakes is built into the vehicle.
Look up the 2010 FSM pointed to years ago here by a member named nashman69. In the brake section you'll find instructions for bleeding/flushing w/o any special tools. Your foot is the special tool.
If you don't feel up to that, here's a write-up from tacomaworld.com. Some 2nd Gen Tacoma's had the same setup as the 5th Gen 4Rs. In this thread, the TW member uses the method I just mentioned, but he also swaps out the bleeders with speed bleeders. This in my opinion is a waste of time. Since Toyota gave us a simple way to bleed/flush our 5th Gen 4Rs brakes, I am at a loss for why someone would want to add speed bleeders for this situation. Follow his post(1st one in thread) - just ignore the speed bleeder part. Keep your stock bleeders unless they are in need of replacement.
