Second, your GOBI Rack with light bar and rear lights. Im patiently waiting for GOBI to deliver but have questions about installation. I know there are some of us out there that have drilled into the roof or ran the power cables in the rain channel. Which are you and how do you go about the installation?

Thanks for the compliment Alaska_4Runner. As for the power cables. I used the rain channel on each side of the windshield to run my power. I utilized the rack itself where it bolts to the roof for my grounds. You can run two wires down the rain channel but it is very tight and takes some finesse. My suggestion is one only. On my drivers side I ride power for the light bar and on the passenger side power for my rear rack lights. For the rear I used the built in rack wiring to run it up to the front. I've been running this set up for a year now with no issues.

The front bumper. How can you lift up the front of the 4runner with a hi lift jack from the front bumper? I do not know how it is possible to lift the front end with a hi lift on that bumper with those angles.
Shouldn't there be dedicated hi lift jacking slots in these aftermarket bumpers? Seems silly that there isn't.
I simply would not buy a front/rear steel bumper without this.

I have the bluetooth and would not suggest using the app only. There are those times when it just doesn't want to hook up. Also, the time it takes to pull up the app and have it find the bluetooth would be frustrating for you I think. I haven't measured this time (and I am sure it is less than it seems like) but it is definitely more time than it takes me to walk from the edge of where it works to the control panel. You need to hardwire something.

I am planning to purchase an sPOD as well and hook up some AOB switches. It looks like you are running a variety of lights along with a winch. I plan to have a similar set up down the line and was trying to decide if I should bump up to the Hi-Amp circuit breaker (80 amps vs the 50 amps it comes with). Are you ever worried about burning up your box if you were to turn it all on at once?

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it IMHO. Currently I'm running a winch cut off switch (the warn one), light bar, and two sets of rear LEDs. So the power drawer is practically zilch. The winch is wired to the battery as it should be. I can't say enough good things about the spods. Super simple plug and play.

Sweet! I just got my power interrupt in the mail yesterday and gonna hook it up to the Zeon 10-S Platinum. One more question for you - did you order the Tacoma or the FJ sPOD?
Just seeing this. Sorry for the late reply. I used the Tacoma kit but I believe the FJ is the same. It will have three long and three short runs on the harness for your switches.

Toyota's hitch plug cover costs nearly as much as a shackle and is even easier to steal - I'm going to keep my shackle on at the mall.:biggrin1:
