Moved up to a 4th Gen

I picked this up on Tuesday. Put on a my Spidertrax and Dayco 2 1/2 - 1 1/2 lift yesterday and got my 265/70 17 BFG All Terrains put on today. I love it so far. The ride is great compared to the 3rd gen.

To bad you could not wait another month on the new tires. The new BFG all terrain KO2 comes out next month unless you really wanted the old style..

I had no idea there was a new one coming out, but I'm happy with these, and I jumped on them now because there is a $70 Rebate on a set that expires Sunday.

Here is the new one. Sidewall is much more aggressive.

Congrats! I too recently upgraded. While I loved my 3rd gen, I just feel a lot of the complaints I had about the 3rd gen were addressed in the 4th gen. She looks sharp!

Newer is not always better., I constantly change motocycle tires constantly. Some just cost more. Example michelin pilot powers. New pilot pure, and pilot 3. Have bad reviews in the moto world.

It makes me wonder why they still have the regular pilot powers after 10 years in production.

OP. Congrats. Mines will look like yours soon. Lift and wheels coming in. I just got my 4th gen 2 days ago. Wiped down the dash with lexnol cleaner just right now and found a couple cracks making it way.

The only problem with buying the old tires is if you damage one 2 years down the road you will not be able to buy an exact replacement because they are discontinued. Other than that I love the old BFG all terrains.
