I love it. I love the look of our front ends and I didnt want to ruin it with a full bumper. It looks awesome and basically blends in seamlessly.

im debating getting this bumper. i think its great that it mounts flush and doesnt really "stand out". BUT i dont know if i want to lose my front hitch bc of my fishing setup, etc...i may be overthinking it since i also have a back hitch, but i dunno. also the c4 bumper is very affordable, and i think it will nudge me to upgrade my suspension as well. my credit card is melting just thinking about it haha
us pre-facelift TE guys gotta stick together!

I absolutely love it. Its not crazy heavy, you can get away with stock suspension if you go with a synthetic winch. Maybe adds 100lbs total up front, but definitely recommend upgrading. I Had bilstein 5100's and Toytec springs, but upgraded the whole set up to a heavier spring from Dobinson and pulled all the Bilsteins out. I love seeing other 10-13s running around. Let me know if you want to see any more pictures of it close up or anything. Cant recommend it enough if you want some armor and a winch mount, but dont want a giant ugly bumper.

right on. i dont think i will be adding a ton of weight overall to the runner, but i figure that an upgraded suspension is almost a must at this point regardless. i plan to keep it for a long time, so why the hell not haha.

Ive just got the single but its awesome. Takes maybe a minute a tire with 33s. My buddy has the dual and it cuts the time in half. Youre gonna love it for those 35s.

Hi Everyone,
I just finished wiring up the arb dual compressor, so now I have my Viair 400P compressor for sale. If you're local to socal and interested in a great compressor, feel free to message me!
I also did the gold mountain trail in big bear this past weekend. This trail is rated as difficult and is probably the last trail you can do in big bear, before you start needing a solid front axle. You can definitely do the other difficult trails with a 4runner, but be prepared to possibly do a trail fix and I would recommend a minimum of 35inch tires.
Anyways, I didn't leave big bear unscathed. I slightly bent my tie rod going through one of the obstacles. You can hardly tell in photos, but my steering wheel is pointed at 10am, while going straight LOL. I've been wheeling for 3 years now and this is the first time i've ever damaged any suspension/steering components. This could be due to the larger tires, but I'm going to say it was the trail for now. I'll post a picture of the my tie rod, below.
Also, the gears did great off road! I couldn't really tell a difference off road performance wise, but what I loved the most was how slow 1st gear (4lo) crawls, with the new ratio. Previously, I would need to ride the breaks going down steep declines, which I no longer have to do that with the re-gear!

One of the reasons I carry a spare inner and outer tie rod with me whenever I travel off road.

Hi Everyone,
It's been awhile since I've updated my thread.
I just got back from Sedona and it was such a wonderful trip. Sedona is such a beautiful place, with wonderful backdrops, tons of hiking, breath taking views, and awesome off roading trails. My friends and I ended up doing the broken arrow trail and solider's pass. Both trails were awesome and not difficult at all. Thanks to some locals, we were able to camp at some awesome spots! Check out the pics below! FYI not all these photos belong to me and all photos belong to their respective owners.
I would highly recommend anyone to check out Sedona, if you have never been! It's great for families or if you're just looking to venture some where breathtaking!
As far as the rig goes, I don't have any major plans in the works. One issue I did encounter on the trip was that my spare tire scraped on some of the obstacles we were tackling, so I may look into getting another tire carrier again, but I'm still on the fence about it.

Hey Everyone,
I can't believe it's been more than a year since I last posted. So many things have changed and life as we know it is so different. Along with my personal life changes, the truck has made some changes as well! I don't plan on posting any pics on this post but I'll list out a few things that have changed and I'll upload some pics next time.
-For starters, the rig got paid off last May!
-Got some total chaos cam tab bolts and spindle gussets installed. Side story, I went out on back to back trips and bent a spindle in one trip and tweaked my alignment on another. Both incidents were driver errors on my part. I don't believe the 315's caused any of this to happen, but I figured I would reinforce some components while I was in there.
-Replaced my LCA bushings.
-Probably the biggest esthetic change would be getting some new wheels. If you guys didn't know, I'm a true JDM head so I bought some Advan RGD2's in gloss black. I was kind of scared on how the black on black would turn out, but I ended up loving it. I still need to purchase a 5th spare.
-Upgraded my spare to a 315-70-17 nitto ridge grappler
-Ordered a Rig'd tire swing out. I was so hesitant on purchasing this since I could actually purchase a rear bumper for a little more, but I want to stay true to my roots on building an OEM plus vehicle.
That's a quick update. I'll post pics within the upcoming days!

I really like the matte silver Ray 10’s on black. Is matte silver a special finish? I like my Pro rims, but, I can’t quite get use to the all black look. Your 4Runner is awesome.Here are some better quality photos, for anyone who cares LOL
Any pics with the new wheels? Looking at getting a set myself and hard to find good pics on our rigs for reference
