Installed my new head unit yesterday. It is an AVH-X5700BHS, and first impressions are that I really like it. I will do a mini writeup here after ai mess with it some.

I picked it up off ebay for like $320 new kind of wish I had just spent the extra $20 at newegg so I had the warranty for incidentals... Oh well.

I actually just tried the apprradio with my brothers phone since mine is not compatible (moto x). And it has potential, but from what I have seen so far it wouldn't force me to make the jump by itself. He didn't have any compatible apps installed so it was hard to say. I am gonna mess with it more tonight. The stock app reviews are enough to scare anyone away, but luckily there is a 3rd party app called AR Unchained that looks really good but is like ~$30.

Went and test drove this today

It was a blast! Fingers crossed that we can get our shit together, this will be a joint venture between my dad and I. It's an original 91' MR2 turbo, very tastefully moded.

Well after literal years of searching I found an MR2 Turbo that was both clean enough and had the documentation to back it up. It is 91' Turbo with 54000 miles, and it is a blast. Here is a list of mods:

-Upgraded Turbo T3/T4 (Not an ssautochrome kit Previous owner payed over $2k to have it installed)
-Aftermarket intercooler
-TiAL Waste gate w\ a screamer pipe (direct vent to atmosphere no muffling)
-Manual boost controller
-Decatted downpipe 3"
-Cylinder head gone though and rebuilt
-ARP Head Studs
-Headgasket
-Polyurethane motor mounts (these suck!)
-sbITs Fuel Cut Defender
-EMS Powered Digital Boost Gauge
-Transmission Fluid Redline MT-90
-Recent Full Synthetic oil change
-EBC Red Stuff Pads
-Front Rotors
-Brand New Sony MEX-N6000BH Head unit (HD radio, Bluetooth. . . The works)
-Replaced Shift boot and knob
-New MB Weapon 17" Wheels (over $1000 new and currently discontinued)
-(17x7 in the front 17x9 in the back no rubbing lock to lock or over bumps)
-Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 Tires on all four corners

And of course :worthless

I am going to keep the 4runner too, but I think my performance mod's are at an end for it. I will fisnish my write up on the AEM FIC, but won't be doing meth or a smaller pulley. I have a racecar now no need for the runner to do double duty anymore

Me too and I just haven't been able to find one that wasn't beat. This one is definitely nice though lol.

And on top of being fast already it has those little performance goodies on it

Yup headed down to second street for wings at Brothers shortly

Idk the speed is a fun car, but I had always wanted a mr2 so I was pretty determined to get one. Next on the list is an MK4 Supra even if that means I have to rebuild a wrecked one from the ground up.
