Mud Flaps, anyone regret not installing them?

Duratracs

WFO9: No, I think the Goodyears were dealer installed., Why? I don't know, but I was not unhappy given all the snow we had this winter! - Ted.

Here is a better picture of the front mud flaps. My stock ones got destroyed off-roading.

So do they come with a front and rear in the set, your front one looks like it comes up he side of the fender wheel well?....on the website it looks like they are all the same for front and back. Can you confirm either way. Thanks

The urethane flaps are the same front and back.

So they ride up the fender wheel well then, it looks like it in your picture of the front, but I don't want to assume. ...did you trim that back ones?

Here are a couple more pictures that I hope help. Y

Yes, that helps clear things up. I also emailed Rally Armor since they have a fitted set coming out for the 5th gen 4Runner to see how long before they are released.
Thanks for the extra pics

Can you let me know what they say? I'm very close to ordering a set of the Rally Armor universals as that's exactly what I'm looking for and then I saw they had a set for the 5th gen coming soon. Thanks to everyone for helping me with this.

Install something. I didn't when I had my 4 door Wrangler Rubicon. OMG the biggest mistake I ever made. The result was after 6 years of scratches and crap on the sides I finally did.

When I got my 17 TRD Off-road Premium I made sure it came with mud flaps.

I've had Rally Armor mud flaps on all of my Subarus. Can't say enough good things about them. Exceptional quality, and the polyurethane flaps are pretty much indestructible.

Will do.

For the ones that have installed these...do you think you could use a handful rivets to install? Seems like that would be a cleaner install.

I've had my Limited for 6 years and 124k miles and my hood has taken most of the paint chips. I've had a lift and huge tires for 118k miles and for the most part the paint on the side of the truck is fine. If I never wheeled it it would probably still look brand new (on the sides).

Second the "install something" recommendation. Mine came with the factory flaps but I knocked the rear driver side flap off in Ouray while doing an eight-point turn-around and pushing into a hard snow bank. I had to replace clips so I left it off for the remainder of the trip and picked up several rock chips in the bumper cover just in a few days.

Obviously now I have to get a CBI rear bumper.

No timing on when they will be available....this is exactly what I recieved in response :

"We continue to work on the development of the 4Runner flaps and will be sure to email you when they are available for purchase.

Regards,
Team Rally Armor"

Got my Rally Armor flaps today. For some reason it required a signature and I wasn't home so I had to pick them up at the Post Office.
