Muffler. Center or Offset?

I don't need a full exhaust so I'm going to just replace the stock muffler with a magnaflow for a little bit better sound. Does it matter if I buy a muffler with both inlet and outlet in the center or inlet center and outlet offset? I know it won't affect sound, just want to make it easier for the installer.

I would just get the Magnaflow cat-back part # 15781.
That's what I have.

Has no resonator before the tip like OEM. It isn't loud unless you pair it with a Cold air intake as well.

I would assume the only benefit to the offset would make it slightly more easy to run the outlet to the side, or mount the muffler vertical and would save you some ground clearance.

Wouldn't looking at the stock muffler/piping configuration tell you which one you need to buy?

To give you a hint the stock configuration is center in offset out.

smaller the muffler, the louder the sound.

stick with borla or magnaflow, if you want louder go flowmaster or cherrybomb
