Hello all,
Well today my muffler / tail pipe took a crap. Broke at the rear of muffler. Tail pipe was then rattling around and dragging. I was able to remove the tailpipe on side of the road ( had to lower spare to get it out). So I am in need of replacement muffler and now tailpipe. I can complain though it lasted 18 yrs and 190k !!! So my options are :
1. Factory muffler and tailpipe which I'm not opposed to given how long the original lasted. Problem there is its $700 bucks !!
2. Go to napa or similar and get parts for $250 or so.
3. Install some cat back 'system'. I have no clue what brands are available or good so that's why I'm asking here
Truck is used as a daily driver and not looking for anything that is loud.
Thoughts / advice would be appreciated ,
