My 03' Build Thread

got the bumper guard today and it didnt come with 4 bolts. i called em and they said they should be on the frame which they were'nt so i went to Ace and got some. i get under the ront bumper to mount the brackets and the nut they gave me screws onto the first 3 threads maybe and wont go any farther! trust me i have taken the bolts out gotten my dad to holt the bolt head with a wrench and i tried to tighten and it wont go anywhere so tomorrow ill go get som more bolts. but other than that it should be pretty easy and it is very solid and has goood quality weight to it. 25 pounds with everything im pretty sure. the top bar is a lot bigger than i thought it would be but that will look even better. cant wait til tomorrow after school to get it installed

well my dad's friend owned a shop so he helped us tremendously so i would still reccomend going to a shop. get it done right the first time. and i like all the lights.

Looks good !!! The Toytec has spacers in front and back ? I was a little confused because it looks like a Daystar spacer ( rear ).

The bar in front is one of the best I have seen.

Like the General grabbers also.

thanks and yea the toytec has 3'' spacers in the front and 1.5'' in the rear. kinda like daystar except the 3'' will make it look better in the front IMO then the daystar 2.5''

So I just ordered the Kenwood KDC-X792 head unit for the 4Runner.
here it is after about a month of jumping back and forth from decisions i finally settled on this one mainly cause of price. i got it for 169.99 with free intsallation gear (30$ value) but also i got this cause it has preset buttons for stations, it has a nice big screen to show all the song info. and best of all a USB in the rear that i can run to my glove box and plug my ipod in, now i dont have to hide it every time i get out of the car. here is a pic of the unit but of course there will be more when installed and ill soon get up pics of the subs (they KNOCK!!) i have had the subs for a while now so anyways heres a pic.

okay so i got the head unit installed today and if u would please take a look at the new thread i made to get more ppl's attention because it shorted my clock and gas mileage light here it is...

other than that problem which can hopefully be fixed tomorrow i really love this head unit and reccomend it to anyone that needs something to use their ipod with and something that looks pretty damn good too haha here is another pic of it and some pics of my subs which i got a long time ago but i just never had the time to take a pic

so i got my LED's in the mail today!! just waitin for my madre to get home with my truck so i can install em. her check engine light was on so she didnt want to drive it 200 miles so she took mine!! i was heated but whatever. ill get pics when done and then some tonight to show em off a bit
