Your 2006 taillights lights look great. It is too bad those didn't come out before we all jumped all over those aftermarket tails.

Your rear T&H bar looks pretty sweet too. It make me want one.

Thanks Lux. I'm definitely glad I decided to switch out my aftermarket tails with these. They look so much better in my opinion. The rear T&H Bar definitely compliments the front bar. If only spring would come already so I can throw on my 20's again.

Nolac,

How did you perform the LED mod in the rear reflectors?

I'm curious and interested in performing this mod.

Thank you.

I want to put the skid bar on the front of mine, but I already have a skid plate. Does that kind hook on to the same place that my skid plate does? (the 2 holes on the outside of the frame on either side, behind the bumper)

Do a search on LED Mod for the rear reflectors. I found the instructions right on this forum and they worked out great !!!

It won't fit with that skid plate you have on. They have the same connecting points and trust me, I tried to make it fit. I'd take that skid plate off and throw the bull bar on. It's going to be much more worth it in the long run. That skid plate isn't going to do much but sit there and look good.

Yeah I didn't get it to be a functioning skid plate. Just to make the front look beefier. I don't think I want a bull guard though. I think the JAOS Skid Bars would look better. The downside is just that they are almost $700 each on BurtmanIndustries.com compared to around 200-300 for a bull guard. The small bull guards don't provide any protection either except from small scuffs and scratches.

I'm thinking about getting the same rear T&H bar that you have instead of waiting to get the JAOS one for $700, and then wait 8 weeks for delivery. But what do you think it would look like with the rear bar installed and only a skid plate in the front. I don't want to get rid of the skid plate yet since i just bought it for $180 like 4 days ago. Also, how did the rear bar hook up? Is it more difficult than installing anything to the front?

The rear T&H Bar was a bit of a pain to put on. You see, the connecting points include the one where the tow hook is. So, you have to get a torque wrench to loosen the bolt that holds the tow hook and then remove it. Then you can put the bar on and the tow hook will sit on the same connecting point on top. Other than that, it's a piece of cake to put on. I prefer my T&H rear bar to the JAOS one.

Any reason why you prefer yours over the JAOS? Besides price? Do you think it would look weird with only the back one untill i figure out what to do with the front?

I think it will look fine. I preferred the T&H rear bar because it wraps around the rear bumper unlike the JAOS one. Besides, paying that much money for it to serve the same purpose didn't sit well with me.

Haven't posted updates in a while so here's what I'm working on:

1) Adding 130W KC Slimlites directly to my grill. Picture below.

2) Waiting for my Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust to arrive tomorrow so I can install it. I bought new mounting hardware (bolts and compression springs) and a new gasket just in case.
