My 04' Runner...

those mounting brackets are actually heavier than they look. i've taken a 5mph hit and no bend. of course if you take a hit at about 20-30 mph you would get a bend. Then again...the frame of your truck would bend under those speeds also. these guards are made to protect against scuffs and scratches...not collisions.

I'll definitely be throwing up some pictures of the installation. I just need to find the time to actually mount it.
Great man, I can't wait to see it. Thanks for all the details that you have already posted. From that diagram it looks like it confirms what Trance has been saying about the light mounting points on the second bar down. Do you have it completely unwrapped now? If so, can you confirm that and that there is no weird black label/sticker thing? I bet you can't wait to get it on there.

About the only thing I can confirm right now is the placement of the aux light tabs being on the second bar. I'll unwrap it fully tonight and confirm the no black sticker item.

Thanks Noloc. I know the black sticker thing seems like a minor item, that I am probably stupid for confirming, but if yours ended up coming with that and it wasn't something that could be removed, then I would search out one without. It is probably pretty high odds that it doesn't have it, but I think I'll be able to hold out another day on ordering it.

How long did it take for yours to get to your door? And how long was it supposed to take?

It was only supposed to take 2 days from Brooklyn,NY to Upstate NY. However, in the end it ended up taking well over a week to finally get to me. Supposedly DHL at first never received the item from the Shipper. Then, when they finally got it they had some routing issues... then.. they were supposed to deliver to the house but it was late in the day and I had to wait another day... I finally got pissed off and went to DHL myself the next day and picked it up. DHL SUCKS !!!!

Thanks Noloc, I just bought it from AutoAnything for $419.09 including tax and the free shipping. Thanks again for your help.

No problem. Post some pictures when you finally install it !!! I'm hoping to finish installing mine tommorow. I already started with the supports on the bottom. They went on without a hitch.

Thanks. It wasn't my original choice but I'm glad it worked out to be. It's definitely much different that just Silver. My previous car was silver and although I loved it, I'm much happier now.

I finally finished the installation. I'll be posting pictures tommorow. Let me say one thing. It was a PAIN IN THE *** to install this. My buddy and I had to remove it and reinstall it just to get it to line up with the bolt holes.

But, IT LOOKS GREAT !!!

And the pictures are finally in....
