My 04' Runner...

You won't believe it but I picked up those wheels for $1k. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. I'm still researching the rubber for them to get them mounted in the spring.

So my finance that it would be cute to get me an umbrella and a holder for it because I'm always taking her umbrella and sort of misplacing it... opps.. hahaha... so I thought I post some pictures of what you get if you order the Japan Umbrella Holder from Carson Toyota. I still have to install it... once again... waiting for the weather to get better!!! BTW.. don't believe the picture on their website !!

That is awesome that your finance bought you some JDM! Is a finance, like a cross between a fiance and a sugar-mama. "I've got to get me one of those!"

I agree with Trance, I think what you ended up getting is better than the pic......way better. I was a little skeptic when I started reading your post and you said the umbrella holder, because I remembered not liking it.......but the one you wound up with is pretty cool. I am a little disoriented on the instructions you posted. Where exactly does it mount?

BTW, I keep my umbrella in the water-bottle holder on the door.

Lux.. based on the pictures and what I could make out.... it seems to mount on the passenger side seat near the lever to bring the back rest forward or back. It came with a template for alignment but I'm think I might try to put it on the drivers seat depending on weather or not it conflicts with the power buttons for my seat.

Thanks for the clarification. BTW, I applaud how you keep your signature detailed and up-to-date. I wish more people did. I think I'm going to re-add a "Potential Mods" part to mine. Now that the list is a little shorter. Oh, and I can't forget this thread, it's great that you keep it up-to-date too. Stating the obvious, I know, but I'm just trying to express a little appreciation.

New Parking Lights

Haven't posted any pics in a while so here's a few with my new 24 LED parking lights in the rear reflectors. The reflection you see on the bottom of the rear hatch is the Hilux Rear Step Guard :

Nice work man, they look great. That bumper guard is a subtle difference that not everyone would notice, but I sure love it. It's one of my favorite mods.

Wow Noloc, that is one sweet Runner you got. Where did you get that VVT-i emblem and how much? I'd like to slap that on the back of my rig. Those seats look freakin awesome too man! Any more info on them? Seems like a real good price. I gotta say I love your Runner!

edit: I forgot to add that those enkie wheels are really nice too. They look like a way more agressive version of the Sport wheels!

Lux.. thanks man. I have to agree with you. That bumper guard is great!!!

Solice... I picked up the VVT-i emblem off of ebay a while back. They almost always have them somewhere. Make sure if you pick one up it's the real thing ( i.e. - it has a toyota part number). As far as the seats... I haven't done anyting with them yet. I'm still looking for a good price. I'll let you know what I find. I'm picking up the rubber for those wheels fairly soon. I can't wait to mount them.

Thanks for the compliments. :D

JDM Umbrella Holder
