Yes i am pinoy, and no you have to wait for your plates atleast a month or two.
The reason i have the plates is because i traded in my 05 odyssey for this.

Ahh, i see. Galing. lol. The 4Runner is a Pinoy's vehicle. Idk about people in your area, but if you see a 4Runner around here in Fresno, there's a high probability a filipino is driving it. lol. It's a great vehicle. I got this because it's pretty similar to the GX, so it's great to just compare things from each other when you need to (location of engine components, if something is wear and tear or abnormal wear, etc.... Enjoy!

i had a lot of problems with my 05
odyssey, bought it brand new last year.
first rattling windows, 2nd lift gate handle fell off, 3rd sliding door failed to open they replaced the actuator, 4th the sliding door trim popped out, 5th. 6 CD changer went dead, 6th. Front engine mount failure, 7th. exhaust A pipe replaced and still not fixed.
it's not lemon the mechanic said the ody was redesigned.
That's why i went back with toyota, never had problems w/ it.
My kumpare saw my 07 Runner he was like WOW!! nice truck
now i have the best truck he's got honda with lots of rattling and problems

Ahhh I see. Dito, I'd say in 10 Filipinos, there are 8 people driving a Toyota and 2 driving a Honda. Basing off my dad's clients (realtor) a majority of them drive a Toyota. I never knew the Odyssey had that many problems. Is that the 3rd (newest) gen one? Before we got the 4R my dad was even thinking of getting that Odyssey. Only reason is because 1. He likes Honda, and 2. He wants to deal with the great service people of his Honda dealership instead of trying to find a kumpare sa Toyota dealership. Luckily we did find one at a different Toyota dealership from the one I bought it from. My suspicion is that the Ody might have lots of problems, because it's made locally???
