My 1998 SR5 Mod Plan

So I bought my first 4Runner this past summer knowing it was a reliable / versatile vehicle.... something you need in upstate NY. Like every other thing i buy with wheels i can't leave it alone...

I have only changed my mind a million times as far as what i was going to do with this thing. I bought it with 75k on the clock from a middle aged woman. I have done the timing belt, plugs, wires ... the basic needs.

I have never owned a truck or SUV and there are not many trails around where i live nor do I know anyone who really goes off road much so I will mainly be mall crawling -_- which is fine because this is my DD after all.

I am pretty set on a 3" suspension lift and a 1" body lift..... the body lift i did this past weekend. why the body lift first? because i am most likely going to design my own tube bumpers and wanted the body set for dimensions.

I think i am going to go with the OME 883 Front and 891 Rear. along with the diff drop from toytec for $370.... unless i can find it cheaper.
It looks like I also should get the Upper control arms, panhard bar and will need to extend some brake lines possibly.
I will have to shop around for the best $$

As far as the wheels and rubber goes my mind changes frequently.

I really like the looks of the 15" wheels and 32" tires..... although its hard to find pictures of this setup.

I understand i may need to run a spacer or take some material off of the front calipers in order to fit the 15" wheel.

As far as the wheel goes I am hoping i can find a 15 on the lighter side.... steelies are heavy and coming from a little sports car this rig is already a dog haha.

So i guess i am just curious what people have to say on the matter.

flame on.
