My 1998 Toyota 4Runner 5-Speed

Hey everybody!

So I'm brand new to the whole forum thing and was looking for some advice/feedback on my current rig. Here's some pictures that I took today.

Current Setup:

1998 Toyota 4Runner
164,054 miles on the 3.4l V6
2.5" Old Man Emu full suspension lift
265/75/R16 BFG tires

Nice Truck! I really like the wheels! Are they centerline's? I like the white colour as well.
Some feedback:
I would try and get the 99+ clear headlights they would make it look ATON better.

Maybe some clear corners?

Maybe the front matching mudflaps?

Also GET RID OF THOSE UGLY CHROME TAIL LIGHT COVERS ASAP!!!!!

I agree, ditch the brush guard. The chrome bumpers can stay though, I think they look great.

Thank you! They are actually Mickey Thompsons, not centerlines. I have always thought about the clear corners, they definitely make it look a lot cleaner. Never really thought about upgrading the headlights, but now that I look they do look a lot nicer. In regards to the tail light covers, I absolutely agree! I got the bullbar and the tail light covers together on Saturday and was just testing the waters. I wasn't really liking them too much myself, so now those are off.

My next part of the project is to wire up the lights in the front. I'm buying a Toyota OEM fog light switch and once that gets here the install will begin. I always loved a clean and stock looking interior.

Ya, I guess Mickey makes some nice-lookin' rims!! :rockon: Trust me the clear headlights don't only look better but also give Much better light output than the "frosted" ones. That's a mod you wont regret. The clear corners also look real clean and sharp. I actually really like the bull bar but yeah those taillight covers.....
Also how much are you out for on the OEM switch? I would like to replace mine for my hella's with that!

oh and one more thing, how do those tail light covers go on? did you have to drill the body? Because the ones that came with my runner the PO drilled into the quarter panel for those crappy covers :crazy:

Yeah I actually got them and the tires for only 400 bucks on top of my old stock wheels and tires. The guy also threw in two brand new ones in the box as well. Yeah that's definitely going to be my next upgrade! And thank you, I absolutely love it too. Gives it a little bit of a aggressive look!

The OEM switch costed me $20, it's pretty expensive for a damn switch but when it's the only one you can find, you gotta pay the piper. You can pick up the same exact one here:

As far as the tail light covers go, I had to actually drill into the tail lights themselves which was something that was pretty easy and convenient. I couldn't imagine drilling into the interior and if I had to those suckers would have never gone on!
