My $2000 95 4runner

I just adopted another runner last night. Now my 85 has a younger brother. It's an SR5 (minus a bath and a rod), 100k on it, perfect interior and straight body. It's got a 4" Skyjacker suspension lift and worn 33" TSL's. I'm gonna have to rebuild/replace the engine though, seeing how one of the rod's tried to run away from home.

So for 2000 dollars, how did I do???

Nice Runner! For $2000, I think you got a good deal. I didn't know Skyjacker made a lift for 2nd gen 4Runners...

I haven't researched it yet, she said she thought it was a skyjacker, but it may very well be another brand. It looks like a pretty decent solid lift though. So how does your 2nd gen do offroad?? I see you've done a bit to it. This one will be my daily driver, and keeping the 85 as the wheeler. But the 95 will see "offroad", I'm just curious as to how well it will do offroading.
I'll probably regear and run a locker in the rear.

It does very well in my opinion. Considering it's still IFS. I locked the rear recently, and that made a world of difference out on the trail. I posted a link to all my pics in your other thread about the "durability of lifted 95 4Runner"... Here it is though: PICS Jut go to all the "Wheeling at __________" albums.
