my 2003 4runner has been stolen

Wow dude, I bet you're relieved!!!!! How does the odometer look compared to when you last saw it? I'd have it checked out mechanically just to be safe.

I haven't look at it get. I heard the truck been double parked for a few days..
and It had a ticked by a cop what a geat job the NYPD, the car been stolen for almost 2 week and NYPD can't find the car but they'll give it a ticket for double parked

I'm glad that your truck is coming back to you. Yes, double check everything inside and outside. You never know how it's been driven for that time. Good luck, hope everything will be fine.

just got home from picking up the 4ruuner, I drove it home. the damage don't look that big...

now I have to wait till monday to talk to the insurance claim dept. and see what they want me to do.

Since it's the weekend, take the time to go over it very carefully and document what has been damaged or stolen. I'd take pictures, too, to give to the insurance agency.

Watch for hidden demage, too -- you don't know if the thief drove it over curbs, etc., or if they just wanted the electronics.

You'll be better off getting all this in front of the insurance company early, so that you won't have arguments later over whether damage was from the theft or your driving.

I would have your dealer run it through diagnostics to see if they can tell if it has been abused - dont think the 2003 has the little black box monitoring speed etc that has been discussed here re the 2005 but worth checking..

Ouch.... well it looks worse than it really is. Looks mostly like your head unit and trim pieces so should be easy enough to fix.
