My 4runner finally looks like a new vehicle

My truck has been hit or touched 5 times in the short time I've owned it since 3/05. I 've read plenty of threads about similar tales of woe.
All I can say is I hope it stops now!! And I'm gonna finally get some aftermarket protection for the lame painted bumpers.
My wife prefers to drive our 99 cherokee classic as it is smaller and gets better gas mileage, so the 4runner will be spending more time home waiting for me!

What kind of protection, rossmon1?

I've been thinking of ordering a Go Rhino hitch step or one from ICI. Looks low key enough for the rear bumper. Especially good for all those would-be tailgaters that follow me every morning on I-80. As for my front, I'm kinda torn between a smaller push bar or full brush bar. Those JAOS center bars look sweet too.

I guess another dilemma would be color.

I nthink WAAG is the company, u can find threads on this site and it comes in black and its reasonably priced.

They are pretty good. Just watch out that the black stuff is a coating.. once its chipped.. watch out for rust.

Dented again

Well a few weeks later and someone scapped most of the pass side low while backing out of a spot.
Fortunately my wife was there and we will be reimbursed.
I'm beginnig to think this truck is jinxed. :bash:
