Super cool post! I just picked up my first 4Runner yesterday - 07 SR5 V6. I've been lurking this forum for a couple months and learned a ton. I can't wait to start doing some little upgrades to my rig. I won't go anywhere near what you did, but would like to do a few things to make it look less stock. I envy your ability to do so much of the work yourself.

I bought it with 120k miles. It now has 205k miles. Other than a couple seized calipers (typical problem) and the obvious timing belt and water pump change I tackled myself it's been great!

We made a plan of trails and camp spots ahead of time, but some things got changed along the way. It was actually fun and challenging when plans got changed and we had to figure things out on the fly!

Not many updates lately. Put the RTT away for winter and put the roof basket back on. Also did the Map Light Mod. I can't believe I waited this long to do that. Also have a smokers kit showing up tomorrow to be installed.

Ordered an LFD Offroad skid plate with their Black Friday sale.
Also hoping 4WP will be having the 12 days of sales this year again. I missed out on a winch last year, so I'll be picking one of them up if they go on sale. If I get one of them, a C4 lo-pro bumper will be getting ordered. :bounce:

My skid plate from LFD Offroad showed up from their black friday sale. I took a wire wheel to it and plan to put a matte clear coat on it for a different look. If it looks shitty, I'll just blast it with some black paint.
Oh, and this skid is beefy! I can't wait to bash some rocks.:rockon:

Unique look; I dig it! Hopefully the look doesn't go to crap; after seeing it like that, sure would be a shame to paint it black.
