My 89 old beast

Just found this awesome site!
Bought a new 04 4 runner last week, limited, 4x4, V8. Soo happy!
I have had my 89 for 300,000 miles and it has been great to me.

Nice truck. It is great that you have 300,000 miles on it and it still runs good. Good luck with your new 04. Hopefully it will last you just as long. Do you still have the 89 or did you trade it for the 04?

Still have my 89 beast

I still have my 89 4 runner, it gets parked in the driveway while my brand spanking new 04 limited 4X4 gets the cushy garage.
My original engine lasted 269,000 miles and so did my tranny.
I bought a rebuilt engine from ATK engines.
