So I live in NOVA as well and have been looking for a 4runner for a while. I saw that one posted for a while then I saw someone create an ad on craigslist warning others of this car.

I'll keep flagging it whenever I see it; may even email him and inquire about it as well...

I actually agree with this, I think this guy should be dealt with my law enforcement undercover or whatever. But to keep pawning off the vehicles is bs

Believe it or not, the digital Odometers in the newer cars are stupid easy to reprogram. There is a small EEPROM chip in the cluster where the mileage is stored. It can be removed in a few minutes with a soldering iron. With a $30 programmer, The chip can be reprogrammed with what ever mileage you want it to have on it, and then put back in the cluster, and no one would know. It is amazing it doesn't happen more often. That is why spending the extra couple of bucks for the carfax is best if it is not available. Glad everything worked out for you.

Wow... I remember this 4runner when I was on my hunt for another. When I contacted him he said it was sold (probably to you). Glad I dodged another bullet. I say "another" because I previously bought a Nissan Armada that had nothing but issues only an hour after pulling off the lot. Even with a 3rd party warranty I couldn't get things straightened out or paid for by them. Finally had to dump it after 2 months of ownership. So glad I didn't have an opportunity to buy this one. Sorry for your experience and waste of time.
