Got my first 4runner a couple months ago here in Grand Junction, CO. It's a 1999 SR5 with 180,000. I have had the 4runner's brother, a 1999 Tacoma TRD SR5 for 4 years but a growing family made me look for something bigger.
This 4runner is pretty clean in and out, but there is some rust underneath which is my biggest concern so far. I have never worked on a car a day in my life before getting this 4runner. But thanks to this forum and online research I have changed the spark plug wires, spark plugs, fuel filter, interior hvac lighting, and battery terminals. So thank you for all of the threads and insight on this forum. I really appreciate people taking the time to show how things are done and it has already saved me $$$
Anyways, enough talking. Here is a pic of my new black beauty, getting new tires today! And a picture of my Tacoma, which unfortunately I am going to have to sell.
