My first rant: OTD pricing

WTF is with so many people quoting 'out-the-door' pricing for their 5th Gen in threads where price comparisons are relevant to the topic? It is completely useless and nonsensical to reference pricing including TTL when state taxes and/or licensing range from virtually nothing to positvely ridiculous (as in CO). Let alone when trade-ins are involved (who trades their car in, anyway? Talk about throwing away money...).

The only person who cares about pricing with TTL is the person buying the truck; I can assure you the rest of us could give two squats... :redbrick:

People always ask me for "out the door pricing" on Instagram. And I agree it's stupid so I always reply with negotiated price of the vehicle itself excluding TT&L. AZ has insane registration fee's that don't apply to most places

People like to talk about price. People like to talk about mpg. People like to talk about mods even though it's just floor mats or window tint. People like talking about colors and wish we had a diesel or manual transmission. It's a enthusiasts forum.

If you want to be a member here great. If you want to whine and complain I'm sure there are other forums for that.
