hey guys my name is john and i purchased my 2000 sr5 4runner with 128k miles on it about 3-4 months ago and i absolutely love it.

after i got her home she needed a detailing very badly. she was pink when i got her


after getting her cleaned up and adding the basket i wanted to paint my flares


then i fixed that annoying power antenna with a normal taco antenna

ordered new 99 tall rear springs to fix my 3'' of sag issue. should be on thursday night will post pictures.

have a set of **** cepek 285-75-16 sitting in my garage that i am going to be putting on this week as well

i am in the same boat, my 2000 has very bad sag on the rear end. I want to lift it just an inch or 2, maybe the 99 highlander springs are the way to go. Lets see some pics of what it looks like when they're on!

How did you paint your flares? Rattle can? Professionally done?

I ask because I want to paint mine but I want to color match the body.

I did it myself. It's dupli color exterior trim paint black color. I just did basic paint prep work and taped them off and painted them while on the truck, didn't want to hassle with taking them off and breaking tabs and what not

Craigslist for 100bucks. Ill try and find the link for it tomorrow for you. It's not that sturdy though but looks good and functions enough to throw my spare tire and gear in it. I think it's like 160 new

FYI The rack may handle the weight but the plastic ends of the cross bars are known to break, especially if you are offroading.

Thanks, by plastic ends do you mean the towers? The towers and crossbars are Yakima.

Copy that. I thought you were using the stock crossbars. The Yakima towers and bars should hold just fine. I have loaded mine with lots of weight and have had no issues.

Will 285-75-16 tires fit with 1.5" wheels spacers?!

Ok so I read everything I could find and people said they would fit normally with some hammering. My concern is that since I have 1.5" wheel spacers on they won't fit even after pounding on the welds.

What do you mean by "fit". You mean enough thread on the studs?

i feel like he means will the tires fit on stock suspension. im gonna say no. i believe 265/75R16's are the biggest you can go stock

sorry i have been M.I.A. guys, while i was gone my truck strawberry milkshaked. Every single drop of coolant ended up in my trans. After replacing the radiate ,degreased the motor 3x, and doing 6 trans flushes she is back on the road and running strong.
