my light colored leather - pics - info

The gold only comes with the taupe interior, I guess they thought it would match better :confused: But every other exterior color, you get the choice of taupe or stone, that is if you get an SR5 or Limited.

Those leather seats are not covers over cloth, the cloth is removed and then the leather cover is put on. The reason for the zippers is that Toyota used zippers when they designed the cloth seats, thus most aftermarket leather companies tend to pattern off their leather designs from whatever the cloth seat has, in this case, zippers.

I've already looked under the leather...no cloth ;) cuz, as I said before, I wanted the cloth to begin with! hehe...the dealer is actually sending me the cloth seat covers as part of the deal....plus I didnt have to pay for the leather, since I didnt really want it and 'settled' for this one with leather
 
My 04 Sport is the first car i have owned with cloth, and although i like it and it has positives over leather (sticky miami heat), I like the smell of leather and i feel it keeps that "new car" smell in the car longer.

Does anyone know an estimated cost for replacing the cloth for leather?
 
Alright.......just wanted to make sure your Toyota dealership wasn't pulling a fast one over on you. As for me, personally I do NOT like leather seating. I've always lived in either the humid south or now in the desert like so. California envirnoment. I hate the :::YIKES::: effect the back of your thighs relay to you during the hot summer months. Also, the interior of a vehicle gets much warmer in the summer with the leather and I tend to always put seat covers in all of my vehicles so the leather would be covered anyways. Just my opinion though....congrats on the free deal you got on the leather seats.
 
I fully agree :) and thats why I wanted cloth in the first place...

BUT, I will say that this leather is sooo soft and has NOT gotten hot or cold :)
 
I have a 2005 V6 Sport Edition (2wd) Galactic Gray Mica. This particular 'Runner came from Stone Mountain Toyota (GA - Southeast Toyota) and it has the EXACT leather seats that you've photographed in this thread - light gray, port-installed. I personally LOVE the color and the feel of these seats. I've already used Lexol conditioner on them with good results. I've had my rig about 2 months.

One question I have - the description of the seats said "leather-faced" seats. Does this mean the back of the seats is actually vinyl/faux leather or are they leather as well?

Thanks for the pics. I think these seats are some of the nicest leather I've come across.

I love the look and feel of the seats as well :) I believe only the center pieces on the front of the seat are real leather (where your butt and back hit the seat)...i'm not 100% sure on that tho
