This thing has been a God send this winter. It's a beast in the snow. Does everything I ask it to. And most importantly, I get to leave my 740i parked so it doesn't get salted up, banged up, stuck or hit in all this snow.

Compared to a RWD sedan with a V8 I am sure that many vehicles are. My E34 sucks in the snow. The BFG Radial T/A's do not help either. I need to look into a set of winter tires. I actually worry more about my 4Runner getting exposed to salt but that's because I am the original owner.

Ha ha, doubtful. Forever homes are for the dogs. I like buying and selling cars. I have to be pushing 100 by now.

I am 36 and have only owned five since I was 15. Holy cow.
However I am looking at a 4unner with a blown engine at the moment........

RWD sedans and station wagons with V8's were all my parents had in the snow, and we got to school in stuff that closes down the state today. Try putting chains on and a few bags of sand in the back. That's what we did. I used to love the sound after a storm with everybody driving around with chains on. Nobody had 4WD except the family from Maine with an International Scout.

You're not the only one here who can remember. There were a few 4WDs around but for the most part everyone had big American boats. My siblings and I learned to drive on snow in a '62 Olds Delta 88 (It wasn't new- I'm not quite that old!). I recall putting weight in the trunk, but I don't remember ever chaining that thing up. Somehow we all managed to get where we had to go....usually.
I'd leave the 740i parked too- way better to take the Runner.

It is really a miracle I found my 4Runner AND my parts 4Runner before you!
As someone who has flipped a few of these Yotas I take you as friendly competition.

Had to meet clients for a settlement today in NE Philly. The office was right across the street from a tint shop I've used a few times. Dropped in, they tinted the front windows for me while I was meeting my clients. It was all done when I finished up.

Got some work in on Saturday.
Tundra 231's (broke a bleeder during install but parts store had one in stock)
New rear wheel cylinders
New Denso F&R O2 sensors
Did all the work at my buddy's shop. He was there doing some other work and a few others were in & out through the day. Nobody believed me that the truck has the miles on it that it does. I love hearing that.
