Next I wanna get some 1.25 maybe 1.50 wheel spacers & turn my exhaust out to the side...Also thinking of Mat-Blacking my wheels & im definently tinting my windows darker

Ever consider plasti-dipping your grill and emblems? I think it would look good, but I'm not a fan of chrome on anything so maybe you like it.

Love the lift. I too surf and have not been able to this year. I have a trip planned end of July for VA Beach. Not OBX but it is the beach. Hope you had some good swells.

Looking good! Im taking mine this week to re-route the exhaust out to the side. I couldn't find anyone in the Charlotte area who mandrel bends pipe, so I had to order a pipe from Summit Racing. I also second plasti-dipping your emblems.

Thanks guys, I think im going to De-badge the door emblems and just leave the ones on the hatch & black them out ...@dougie let me know if turning ur exhaust helps with the rotten egg smell please...& phoenix let me know when ur in the area man (Im still learning when it comes to surfing but i love it)...we went down to frisco and the waves were awesome

So you're running 285/70/17s on stock offset (sans wheel spacers) and experience no major rubbing

Nothing to bad....slight rub at full turn ...mainly like tight turns like backing out of parking spaces ...& after driving it on the beach and bouncing around all day I noticed some rubs in the paint on the ucas not bad though

Ok...that sounds about right. I keep telling myself not to do it (run 285s) without spacers but I'm really considering trying it out on my next set. Especially after reading posts like this. Ha. Thanks for the information.

We'll do. It's been in my to do list for a while. From what I've read on it, it does help with the smell. Also, you should look at blacking out your head light housings. I just did mine yesterday.

Do you mean the inside of ur headlights? Like u opened them up & did it or the whole light because I was thinking about that too

Since you have the chrome handles & whatnot, I don't think debadging would do a lot for you. If you had the color-keyed handles I think it's a very clean look.

ive thought about that & mirrors also...havent looked into price or anything for them yet though..ive also thought about doing it myself ( im in the navy and ive been to the paint and final finish class to paint F18s ) it cant be to much different...and i should be able to get a can of duplicate color paint pretty easy right?....

Depending on what the color is you should be able to get Duplicolor OEM match paint at an auto store. They don't make all OEM colors, but a lot of them.

momo.75 painted his handles a while back and they turned out really well, don't see why yours wouldn't too. It will probably take a lot of wet sanding and OCD-ness to get it perfect, but it is DIY-able.
