Depending on what the color is you should be able to get Duplicolor OEM match paint at an auto store. They don't make all OEM colors, but a lot of them.

momo.75 painted his handles a while back and they turned out really well, don't see why yours wouldn't too. It will probably take a lot of wet sanding and OCD-ness to get it perfect, but it is DIY-able.

The lift & tires looks great by the way!

Did you have to get new rear shocks to run the superflex coils? I love the look! Great stance with the 285 BFG's! Also do you have any rubbing?

No i didnt have to get new shocks & i have slight rubbing at full turn..also after i took it on the beach last sunday and spent all day bouncing around i noticed some rubbing on the uca's but not bad...it was just enough to take the paint off....im hoping the wheel spacers & a body mount chop will fix that....and im gonna trim up the front wheel well fender(take screws out cut fenders push it forward and re-drill holes to move it forward)...thanks man i was a bit nervous to pu the 285s on there but I love it now, some slight adjustments it works just fine

Thanks guys, I think im going to De-badge the door emblems and just leave the ones on the hatch & black them out ...@dougie let me know if turning ur exhaust helps with the rotten egg smell please...& phoenix let me know when ur in the area man (Im still learning when it comes to surfing but i love it)...we went down to frisco and the waves were awesome

Just got my exhaust done... Just like I thought it definitely keeps the exhaust from recirculating into the rear window... Put it on your to do mod list!

No problems so far, we've had a ton of rain and I've pressure washed my truck a couple times. Just make sure you smash them back together good. There's also 4-5 screws that pull the lens and the rear housing together that helps keep the two together.

Since I couldn't find anybody that mandrel bends exhaust pipe, I ordered a mandrel bent pipe from Summit Racing and took it to a local Mineke (I know, I know...) and since I already cut off the OEM resonator all they did was weld it into place where I wanted it and added another hanger for it. The pipe from Summit was $20 and Mineke charged me $42 to weld it into place. Not bad to get rid of the exhaust recirculating into the rear window... I might end up adding a tip eventually, but for now Im pretty happy with it.:thumb3:

That's not to bad at all when I do it I'm definently gonna order a tip though it just looks better IMO anyways...I'm getting my wheel spacers after I get paid on the 15th I can't wait ill post another b4 & after pic

Ok...that sounds about right. I keep telling myself not to do it (run 285s) without spacers but I'm really considering trying it out on my next set. Especially after reading posts like this. Ha. Thanks for the information.

FYI, I finally got around to test fitting the 285/70/17s today (Nitto TG, ~25% tread remaining)with factory offset....NO WAY. They weren't even close to fitting and wouldn't bolt up without the UCA pressing into the tire, and that was before the truck was lowered. I have no idea how you are running the BFG AT in that size unless those 17s have a slightly different offset (although they should be exactly the same).

Initially, this outcome wouldn't have surprised me at all. However, after seeing at least two different people (including you) successfully running this setup, I got my hopes up for nothing. Either way, i'm jealous. Ha

What difference did it make by cutting off the resonator?
