My new play toy....

I bought a new play toy back on 1/1/11, here's a link to it:

It's a limited edition firehawk, I bought it off my friend who actually bought it used the weekend my little girl was born, it only had 6k miles on it when he bought it 7 years ago. It's fast....its good to be back into a different kind of toy, my wife and I had a couple of corvettes before kids, at least I can get the entire family in this ride....

Now, I work from home and when I bought it, I called my insurance agent, she asked me what car I was replacing....I told her it was an addition....she said "let me get this straight, you work from home and need two cars plus your wife's car?"....I just chuckled and said yes, I guess so.....

That looks freakin sick!! I like the functionallity of the fiberglass hood the most!! I would get in too much trouble if i had a 5.7 in a rwd!! :lookout: Have fun and be safe!

Thanks, its putting out about 330rwhp, so it'll spin the tires through 1st and 2nd gears if I really get into it.....its amazing how I've "calmed" down as I've gotten older, I'll be 41 this year....back when we had the corvettes it seems I was always getting pulled over....

I remember getting pulled over up in Kansas back in 2001, the sunday before 9/11 actually, I had just flown around this mustang on highway 75, no one around....doing about 110-115 or so, approaching a hill thought I'd slow down some, as I topped the hill my radar detector was going off like crazy but I couldn't see any police car...I soon saw a red camaro dart off to the side of the road...as I drove past it, it had the state patrol decals all over it....doh...! He pulled me over about 5 miles down the road, I was lucky, I think he clocked me at like 80 or 82 in a 65. Funny thing is, about 20 miles down the road I passed that same mustang again.....then a couple miles later got clocked by another state patrol....this time I had warning.....

Nowadays I just like to hear the car growl a bit and I get on it a bit...not much of a speed demon like I used to be....

I think the car is a collectors car with such a limited build number....and if its not, its not something everyone has....and lt4 corvette motor in a firebird....

I get in trouble with 1.9 liters of a diesel engine in FWD.

Looks cool, you should mod that a bit to get some more power out of that thing.

LOL....the car is the actual play toy....the girl in the photo was the photographers girlfriend....my buddy had all the pics taken in Dallas, before I bought the car....I think they were taken this past summer/fall.
