My new Rig 2007 Sport Edition 4x4

Pulled the trigger on Saturday. Fully loaded 2007 Sport Edition 4x4 with 50K miles
Galactic Gray / Black Cloth
XREAS
Moon Roof
Nav / JBL
Rear Entertainment
Front Skid Plate
17" Wheels
2" Lift
K&N Intake
Magnaflow Exhaust

Looked for a very long time for the color and options. First mod is to remove the K&N and the muffler. A little to boy racer loud for me, and can't get it smogged in California with the K&N. Otherwise pretty happy with the find.

Thanks for all the complements. I looked for a very long time for the Sport Edition (I like the hood scoop). I've gotten several differring opinions on being able to smog with the K&N. The K&N web page says "No". But the Toyota Dealer says "Yes". I guess I'll head to the smog station this week and find out.

Thanks . . . The lift was the selling point as it was done and that would have been the first thing I did. The muffler and the K&N both need to go. Stopped by a muffler shop and they were less than helpfull. Did all kinds of searching last night on TR4 and came to the conclusion I'm going to try the Magnaflow 22" (22" x 11 x 5"). Most said it was too quiet which is exactly what I want. Second choice would be Magnaflow 24" (24" x 8" x 5") which folks here say is just right. I may have to put an aftermarket resonator on as well because the 35-50 drone is just terrible. Mine has a 14" Flowmaster of some kind that sounds like a rice racer. Hate it.

While the K&N is cool looking, it's also gotta go. I'm going with stock setup and highflow paper filter. I change Airfilters at every oil change at 5K miles.

So far my only regret is this thing is tiny. I'm coming off a 2002 Ford Expedition 5.4L Eddie Bauer AWD with 180K miles that still looks newish. Loved the rig (still have it) but wanted something for daily driving that would ultimately outlive the Expo.

The only other immediate mod is I'm going with Spidertrax spacers to widen out the stance a bit.
