Do they make a 10" IFS lift? Might make some tough angles on the half-shafts...just maybe.

I have a set of BFG M/T KM2 33x12.5 15" and a set of Ultra Mongoose wheels on order through TireRack.com - the wheels are on order, and should be shipped on or about the end of March.
That BAT (big ass tire) was on display at the shop I'm getting my work done at. I'd like to see a 4Runner with those on it. LOL!

Excellent choice! I'm running 33/10s and I love 'em.

I know a guy that ran 42" iroks on stock mini axles in a first gen 4runner with 22re and 4.10 gearing. He had to do some "minor" fender trimming. Obviously he was dual cased. Ill find a pic and video of it an post later.

Rear View (See the springs on the left? They are Moog. Practically new, and will have them for sale. They definitely get rid
of the rear sagging!! Don't need them now.)
Throttle Position Sensor replacement - oh what fun!
Heading out tomorrow for Rausch Creek PA. Trail report to follow. Can't wait for the tires/wheels to arrive. These 31" BFG A/Ts are SMALL now...LOL!

Thanks Bob. I will have to wait patiently until the tires/wheels are shipped sometime in late March from TireRack. ARGH!!
My son and I tested the Honey Badger out on the trails at Rausch Creek, and the difference in articulation is very substantial. Even with the ice, and snow we were able to get just about anywhere we wanted to go.
Just to be on the safe side we did avoid some of the more challenging areas. These will wait until I get her armored up again. I either need to find an outfit that does armor for 4Runners with a Rough Country lift, or visit a local metal shop for some fabricating.
The lift is kinda squishy as compared to stock, but as it breaks in it should stabilize.
Highway driving feels the same as before, and I don't notice much change in gas mileage.

She'll look a lot more off-road worthy with the 33x12.5 BFGs. I've also sent off an email to Bud Built to see if they have, or can fab up some armor - especially a front skid! The front diff, and transfer case are way too exposed now.

As long as you have IFS, they can hook you up with skids--the problem is with solid axles. You should be able to get both a front plate and a full belly plate that will protect you to the fuel tank. I forget--do you have traction-aiding diffs (locker or LSD)?

The front diff is stock ADD, and the rear is locked with a Yukon Grizzly.
Didn't receive an email so I'll give them a call tomorrow and order up the full monty.
I had pretty much the same front lift on a 1st gen and hit the cross bars plenty of times on rocks and never had to worry about hitting the diff. That front diff is very well protected.
