My Runner build and everything else thread

I've been lurking the forums, making comments, and drooling at all of these sweet 4Runners on here for a while now. So I thought that it was time to kick off my own thread for everything about my Runner. Here is the skinny:

2002 Toyota 4Runner Limited
Purchased Feb '14 with 132k miles.

Mods:
2nd GEN TRD Supercharger
MB Wheels Model: TKO
Interior LED conversion (ongoing)

Planned (want):
A damn bluetooth/iPod headunit!
Component speakers
Liftkit
HID retrofit
Rock sliders
Custom bumpers
Roof rack (would love a Gobi stealth)
Tundra brake upgrade
Wheel spacers

The long term goal is for this rig to turn into a mild mannered daily driver when it needs to be while also being able to tackle most terrain. Agility is the name of the game with this build.

I've got some know how when it comes to autos, but you can never know enough! Hopefully we can stage some Colorado meet ups in the near future. I'd love to jump into other people's rigs and get a feel for the different suspension setups and what not.

Finally finished the gauges and installed the head unit. Next will be new front speakers.

It's been a while since I posted updates in here.

So far I have updated my factory head unit with a sweet Kenwood model. Installed a layer of dynamat in the front doors. I've got a set of 4x Innovations rock sliders ready to weld on. And a pair of Alpine component speakers to replace the factory system.

Wow. The 4Runner Gods did me a favor yesterday. Walked in front of my truck while it was parked in the garage. I see red fluid pooled up in spots on my grill, bumper, and garage floor. I'm thinking this is it. Just stands to reason that before I can install the aux tranny cooler, I get the damn pink milkshake!

Popped the hood. Milkshake in reservoir? No. Pull the tranny dipstick. Nope. Unscrew the radiator cap. None there either.

Just a bad radiator that is spraying coolant all over the front of my truck. Must have happened the last trip I made in it a couple days prior while coming home from work. Dodged a serious bullet this time!

The damage so far: $120 for radiator at O'Reilly's and new upper/lower hoses for $9/ea. Plus coolant and tranny fluid to top it off. Tomorrow I'm going to flush both the cooling system and transmission and see how it goes.
